Welcome to Kshraum ("Kshraum", "we", "our" or "us"). Kshraum is a productivity, focus, digital wellbeing and habit-building mobile application designed to help users reduce digital distractions, plan tasks, schedule focus sessions, block selected apps and supported websites, and review productivity insights.
This Privacy Policy explains how we access, collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal information when you use the Kshraum Android application, related websites, account services, subscription services and customer support (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required, Kshraum will request it through a separate, affirmative in-app action. A privacy policy does not replace any prominent disclosure required immediately before a sensitive permission or special access request.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Kshraum Android application, account authentication, cloud synchronization, planner and focus features, subscription verification, the Kshraum website pages that link to this policy, and support interactions. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
You may withdraw consent through the app or Android settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully and may make the related feature unavailable.
Features vary by device, Android version, plan and permissions enabled. Optional features operate only after you choose to activate them.
This information is used to deliver the features you configure. Selected account information may be synchronized through our backend when you sign in.
When you grant Android Usage Access, Kshraum may process foreground app usage, app launch and switching frequency, screen-time duration, hourly or daily usage and related app-level patterns needed to generate focus insights and support user-selected rules. Raw Android usage history is processed primarily on your device and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Kshraum is not an accessibility tool for persons with disabilities. When you activate Focus Protection, Kshraum may use Android Accessibility Service to detect that a user-selected app or a supported browser interface is visible and to show a focus shield during an active rule.
For supported website blocking, the service can read the visible supported-browser page or search interface only to compare the visible URL, domain, page or search text against keywords and URLs configured by you. It then determines whether to show the focus shield. Browser content used for this comparison is processed on-device and is not transmitted to Kshraum servers.
Kshraum does not use Accessibility Service to read passwords, capture general typed text, read private messages, record calls or conversations, collect financial information, monitor unrelated activity, change settings without permission, or make autonomous decisions unrelated to the focus rule you configured.
Kshraum may access the minimum app or package information needed to display an app-selection list, identify apps you select for focus restrictions, apply those rules and generate app-specific insights. Kshraum does not sell or share app inventory information for advertising or analytics monetization.
Kshraum does not receive or store your full payment card number, CVV, banking password or other complete payment credentials. Google Play processes the payment transaction under Google's own terms and privacy notice.
When you contact us, we process your email address, message, attachments you choose to provide, account identifier and information reasonably needed to investigate the request, verify identity and respond.
Kshraum does not intentionally collect contacts, SMS messages, call logs or recordings, microphone recordings, photographs, videos, precise GPS location, biometric identifiers, health records, government identification numbers, banking credentials, passwords from other apps, private messages or emails from other apps. Kshraum does not use Notification Listener or Notification Access to read or analyze notification content or interruption data.
Used for authentication, eligible synchronization, backend communication, subscription verification, website access and support of cloud-based features.
Used only to deliver planner reminders, alarms, focus-session notices, account notices and subscription-related messages you choose to receive. Kshraum does not request Notification Listener access and does not read notifications posted by other apps.
Used to calculate app usage, screen-time summaries, app-specific patterns, focus progress, streaks and supported user-selected focus logic. Where practical, calculations remain on-device.
Used for user-requested app blocking and supported browser URL or keyword blocking during active focus rules. Kshraum can detect the selected app or supported browser interface, compare visible supported-browser page or search information with your configured URLs or keywords, and show a focus shield. This browser information is not transmitted off-device.
Accessibility Service is enabled only after a separate in-app disclosure and affirmative consent, followed by the Android settings step. You may disable it at any time. Disabling it may prevent affected blocking features from working.
Used only to show an app picker, identify apps selected for focus restrictions and provide supported app-specific functionality. Kshraum seeks the narrowest Android access available for this purpose.
Kshraum may use standard Android scheduling and device restart handling to restore user-configured reminders and schedules after restart. The current app does not request the special Display over other apps permission, the SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permission, Notification Listener access or VPN access.
We do not sell personal information, rent user data, create third-party advertising profiles, personalize third-party advertisements or perform cross-context behavioural advertising.
Kshraum is designed to perform a substantial part of focus enforcement and productivity analysis locally. Raw screen-time calculations, app-switching analysis, focus enforcement, streak calculations and supported-browser URL or keyword comparisons are processed primarily on-device.
Kshraum does not currently upload or permanently store raw Android screen-time history, raw hourly app-usage logs, complete browsing history or the visible browser content used for supported URL or keyword comparison. If you sign in, Kshraum may synchronize selected profile information, planner data, schedules, blocked-app selections, user-configured URLs or keywords, preferences, focus summaries, onboarding status, subscription status and limited account or session metadata.
Kshraum automatically calculates focus scores, streaks, distraction summaries, planner summaries, consistency metrics and similar productivity insights. These calculations are designed only to provide the requested productivity feature and do not make legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical or similarly significant decisions about you.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only as necessary to operate the Services, process a user request, protect the Services or comply with law.

Kshraum does not currently list Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics or Google Play Integrity API as implemented service providers. If any new SDK or service is enabled, this policy and the Play Console Data safety disclosures will be updated before or when required by law or policy.
We may also disclose information to authorities, courts or professional advisers where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or investigate fraud. If the Kshraum business is transferred, personal information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
We retain each category only for the period needed for the stated purpose and apply the following default periods or criteria:

We may anonymize information instead of deleting it where the result can no longer reasonably identify you. Retention periods may be extended only where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security investigations, disputes or enforcement of legal rights.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS in transit, authenticated backend access, access controls, secure authentication and limited synchronization. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request portability and complain to a regulator. Submit a request by emailing developer@kshraumapp.com or through https://www.kshraumapp.com/account.html.
To protect your account, we may verify a request by asking you to use the email linked to the account, complete a sign-in confirmation, confirm basic account details, or provide a Google Play order identifier when the request concerns a purchase. We will not ask for unnecessary government identification. Information collected for verification will be used only to verify and process the request.
An authorized agent may act for you where applicable law permits. We may request reasonable proof of authority and may ask you to confirm the request directly. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any lawful limitation or refusal.
You may initiate account deletion in the app through Account > Delete Account. You may also request deletion without reinstalling the app through the public account page:

The external page must allow you to submit a deletion request by form or email, identify Kshraum clearly, explain the verification step and remain publicly accessible.
Before deleting your Kshraum account, cancel any active Google Play subscription separately through Google Play. Deleting the Kshraum account does not itself cancel recurring billing. After a valid request and reasonable identity verification, Kshraum will delete or anonymize associated account data from active systems within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions in Section 13. Backups may be overwritten within up to 90 days.
Deletion may permanently remove planner data, schedules, reminders, focus history, productivity summaries, streaks, preferences and other account data that cannot be restored.
Kshraum is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law, and such users may not create or use an account. Users aged 13 to 17 may use Kshraum only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child contrary to applicable law. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of a minor's information.
Kshraum is established in India. Service providers may process information in other countries. Where a restricted international transfer is subject to applicable law, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and supplementary technical or organizational safeguards appropriate to the transfer, rather than relying only on this policy statement.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or Swiss data-protection law applies, you may exercise the rights described in Section 16 and complain to your local supervisory authority. The applicable legal bases are described in Section 4, retention in Section 13 and international transfers in Section 19.
Kshraum is established outside the EEA and United Kingdom. Whether an EU or UK representative must be appointed depends on how and where the Services are offered and monitored. If appointment becomes legally required, the representative will be appointed and its contact details will be published before or when required. Until then, users may contact us directly using Section 2.
Residents of U.S. states with applicable privacy laws may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete information, obtain a portable copy, appeal certain decisions and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination. These rights apply only where Kshraum meets the law's coverage thresholds and subject to statutory exceptions.
Submit a U.S. privacy request through https://www.kshraumapp.com/account.html or email developer@kshraumapp.com. Verification follows Section 16. We may use the same channels for an appeal where applicable.
Do Not Sell or Share: Kshraum does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Kshraum has not sold or shared personal information for those purposes during the preceding 12 months. Because Kshraum does not engage in such activity, no separate opt-out is currently necessary. If this practice changes, we will provide all required notices and opt-out methods before the change applies.
Where applicable under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian law, you may request access, correction, updating or deletion, withdraw consent and raise a grievance. Contact the Grievance Officer, Rituparna Biswas, at support@kshraumapp.com. We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required by applicable law.
The Android app does not use traditional browser cookies. The Kshraum website and integrated Google services may use identifiers or similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, subscription verification and website operation. Kshraum does not use these technologies to sell personal information or deliver personalized third-party advertising. Where consent is legally required, it will be requested before use.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Services, SDKs, data flows, security practices or law. The Last Updated date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website or email where required. If a change requires consent, continued use alone will not replace that consent.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws applicable to Kshraum in India, subject to mandatory privacy and consumer rights that apply where you reside. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
