These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kshraum mobile application, related websites, subscriptions, content, features and services (collectively, the "Service"). Kshraum is owned and operated by Suniti Biswas ("Kshraum", "we", "us" or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information about accounts, subscriptions, Android permissions, blocking features, limitations of the Service, dispute resolution and your legal rights.

You accept these Terms when you download, install, access or use the Service, create an account, start a subscription or trial, or otherwise indicate acceptance in the app. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms incorporate the Kshraum Privacy Policy available at https://www.kshraumapp.com/privacy-policy.html and any plan-specific or promotional terms shown before purchase. Mandatory law and mandatory Google Play rules prevail where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to accept these Terms on your own behalf. A user aged 13 to 17 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. The parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy and is responsible for the minor's use.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law. Such users may not create an account or use the Service. We may restrict or close an account where required consent or supervision is not established.
Kshraum is a productivity, focus, planning, digital-wellness and digital-detox application. Features may vary by device, Android version, plan, region and permissions enabled. The Service may include:
The exact features available are those described in the current app interface and purchase screen. Examples in these Terms do not guarantee availability on every device, browser, plan or region.
Certain features may require an account created through an available sign-in method such as Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

Cancel any active Google Play subscription separately before or when requesting deletion. Deleting the Kshraum account does not automatically stop Google Play recurring billing. The deletion and verification process is described in the Privacy Policy.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to install and use the app on compatible devices you own or control, solely for lawful personal or internal use. No ownership rights are transferred.
Except where law expressly permits otherwise, you may not sell, rent, lease, distribute, sublicense, publicly perform, commercially exploit, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service.
Kshraum requests permissions or special device access only when needed for a feature you choose to activate. The app, in-app disclosure, Play Console declaration and Privacy Policy must describe the same implemented behavior.
Where required, Kshraum presents a separate in-app explanation immediately before directing you to enable a sensitive permission or special access setting. These Terms and the Privacy Policy do not replace that prominent disclosure or your affirmative choice.
Kshraum is a focus and productivity app, not an accessibility tool for persons with disabilities. When you enable Accessibility Service for Focus Protection, Kshraum may detect that a user-selected app or supported browser interface is visible and show a focus shield while a user-configured rule is active.
For supported website blocking, Kshraum may read the visible supported-browser page or search interface only to compare the visible URL, domain, page or search text against keywords and URLs configured by you. The comparison occurs on-device. Browser content used for this comparison is not transmitted to Kshraum servers.
Accessibility Service must operate only for narrow, user-requested focus rules. It is not used to read passwords, capture general typed text, read private messages, collect financial information, monitor unrelated activity, change settings without permission, prevent uninstalling or disabling the Service, or autonomously initiate unrelated actions or decisions.
Usage Access may identify app usage patterns, calculate focus activity, generate screen-time or app-specific insights, support streaks and apply supported user-selected focus logic. Android-generated usage information may be delayed, incomplete or affected by device settings or manufacturer restrictions.
The standard Android notification permission may be used to deliver planner reminders, alarms, focus-session notices, account notices and subscription-related messages. Kshraum does not request Notification Listener or Notification Access and does not read notifications posted by other apps.
Minimum app or package information may be used to display an app-selection list, identify apps selected for focus restrictions, apply user-configured rules and generate supported app-specific insights. Kshraum seeks the narrowest access reasonably available.
Kshraum may use standard Android scheduling and restart handling to deliver reminders and restore user-configured schedules after device restart. The current app does not request VPN access, the special Display over other apps permission or the SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permission.
You may revoke permissions through Android settings. Revocation may prevent affected features from working, interrupt an active focus session or reduce insight accuracy. Device manufacturers may also restrict background operation, scheduling or accessibility services.
Blocking, grayscale, Digital Sunset and strictness features can affect access to apps, websites and device functions. Configure them carefully.
Kshraum is not liable for consequences resulting solely from a rule or restriction configured by you, except to the extent caused by our breach of law, gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
You must use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
Kshraum may offer free features and one or more paid plans. The price, billing period, included benefits, renewal type and material restrictions will be shown before purchase. Unless the purchase screen states that a plan is prepaid or non-renewing, a subscription is auto-renewing.
Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google account at the start of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. Subscriptions provide access only for the entitlement period and do not transfer ownership of the Service. Plans, features and prices may vary by region where permitted by law and Google Play rules.
A trial, introductory price, coupon or promotion is subject to the eligibility, duration and conversion terms shown before activation. Unless stated otherwise, an auto-renewing trial converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price when the trial ends unless you cancel before expiry. We may limit offers to one per eligible user and may withdraw an offer that is misused or technically erroneous while respecting purchased entitlements and mandatory rights.
Google Play processes payments. Prices may include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout. Currency conversion, bank charges, payment authorization and payment-method rules may be controlled by Google or your payment provider.
We may change subscription prices for valid business reasons. A change will not retroactively alter a paid billing period and will be implemented with the notice, approval and cancellation options required by law and Google Play. If payment fails, Google Play may retry, apply a grace period or account hold, suspend access or allow the subscription to expire.
Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through Google Play's subscription center. Where required, Kshraum will provide a direct in-app link or method.
Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law, Google Play refund rules and this section. Cancellation alone does not automatically create a refund for a period already charged. For purchase-delivery problems or a Service that does not work as described, contact support@kshraumapp.com. We may investigate and, where appropriate, issue or support a full or partial refund through available Google Play tools.
Except where law, Google Play policy or a written offer requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable for change of mind, partial use, unused time after voluntary cancellation or failure to cancel before renewal. This does not limit remedies for defective services, unauthorized transactions, misleading representations or other non-waivable consumer rights.
Kshraum is intended to support focus, planning and digital wellness, but results depend on your behavior, configuration, device and environment. We do not guarantee:
Insights are estimates generated from available app and device data. They are not audited records, employment records, medical assessments or evidence of legal compliance.
You may enter profile information, task text, schedule titles, reminder details, blocked keywords or URLs, notes, preferences and feedback ("User Content"). You retain ownership of User Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, synchronize and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the Service, comply with law and exercise rights under these Terms. The licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to the Privacy Policy, backup retention and legal obligations.
You are responsible for ensuring User Content is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights. Do not enter highly sensitive information unless necessary for your intended use and clearly covered by the Privacy Policy.
Our processing of personal data is described in the Kshraum Privacy Policy at https://www.kshraumapp.com/privacy-policy.html. The Privacy Policy controls in relation to personal-data handling unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Permission access does not authorize use beyond the purpose separately disclosed. The Privacy Policy, Data safety form, Play Console declarations, store listing, in-app disclosures and code must remain consistent.
The Service may depend on Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Google Cloud Functions, Android system services, device manufacturers and supported browsers. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their independent outages, security incidents or eligibility decisions, but this does not exclude responsibility that law places on us for our selection or use of a provider.
The current app does not list Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics or Google Play Integrity API as implemented dependencies. The app may include open-source software governed by the applicable open-source licences, which may grant additional rights for those components.
We may release updates, bug fixes, security patches or new versions. Some updates may be required for continued compatibility. You are responsible for a compatible device, supported Android version, sufficient storage, internet access where needed and current app updates.
We may modify, replace, suspend or discontinue a feature for security, legal, technical, operational or business reasons. Where a material discontinuation affects a paid entitlement, we will provide notice or a remedy where required by law or Google Play policy.
The Service and associated software, code, design, text, graphics, interfaces, branding, logos, audio, animations, mascots, databases and documentation are owned by or licensed to Kshraum and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the licence in Section 6, no right, title or interest is transferred. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.
If you provide ideas, suggestions, reviews, bug reports or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable and royalty-free right to use and adapt that feedback without compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission unless the review is already public.
Kshraum is a general productivity and digital-wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, diagnostic, crisis-response or emergency services. Breathing, detox, reflection or wellness content is general information and is not a substitute for professional advice.
Stop using a feature if you feel unwell or unsafe. Seek qualified advice where appropriate. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancel a subscription separately through Google Play and use the in-app or web route in Section 5 for account deletion.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, have an invalid or expired entitlement, a required third-party service is unavailable, law or platform rules require action, or the relevant feature is discontinued. Where reasonably possible and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, compatibility, accuracy or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Service will prevent every distraction, remain active after all device or operating-system events, or preserve every item of User Content. Maintain independent copies of important information. Nothing excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kshraum, its personnel, contractors, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential losses, or loss of profits, business opportunity, goodwill, productivity, anticipated savings or data, arising from the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for Kshraum during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; if you paid nothing, the aggregate cap is INR 1,000. The exclusions and cap do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer remedies.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Kshraum against third-party claims and reasonable costs directly arising from your unlawful commercial exploitation, intentional misuse, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of Section 9. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by our breach, negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct and does not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, civil disturbance, government action, telecommunications failure, widespread cloud or platform outage, cyberattack, epidemic, labour disruption or failure of essential infrastructure. Payment obligations already due and non-waivable rights are not excused.
Nothing in these Terms restricts rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other mandatory law. For account, billing, service or consumer complaints, contact Grievance Officer Rituparna Biswas at support@kshraumapp.com. Include your account email, relevant Google Play order ID where applicable, the issue and requested resolution.
We will acknowledge a consumer complaint within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve it within one month, subject to applicable law. We may request reasonable information to verify identity, locate a transaction, investigate the issue and protect account security. You may approach an appropriate consumer commission, regulator or other forum where law gives you that right.
Before starting court proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by written notice to Section 33. This does not prevent urgent interim relief or use of a statutory consumer or regulatory process.
The parties may mutually agree to independent mediation before litigation. Mediation is voluntary unless required by a court or statutory process.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and any forum available under applicable law, courts of competent jurisdiction in India may hear disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
We may update these Terms for changes in the Service, law, security, business practices or platform requirements. The updated version will state a new Last Updated date. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required. If law requires separate affirmative acceptance, continued use alone will not constitute acceptance.
You consent to receive transactional communications electronically, including account notices, security alerts, receipts, subscription information, reminders and changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy. Communications may be delivered in-app, by notification, email or through Google Play. Marketing communications, if used, will follow applicable law and available consent controls.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable purchase or promotional terms form the entire agreement regarding the Service and replace prior discussions on the same subject.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions continue.
A failure or delay in enforcement is not a waiver. A waiver is effective only in writing for the specific instance stated.
You may not assign these Terms without written consent. We may assign them in connection with a sale, reorganization or transfer of the Kshraum business, subject to law and notice where required.
These Terms do not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary or agency relationship.
Headings are for convenience. "Including" means "including without limitation". Singular words include the plural where context permits.
These Terms are written in English. A translation is for convenience. To the extent permitted by law, the English version controls in the event of inconsistency.
